Power Distribution
DBK designs complete electrical power distribution systems from the main service entry through to individual floor distribution panels. Our designs cover transformers, switchgear, emergency generators, electrical risers, and dedicated distribution panels (DBs) for residential floors, office tenants, commercial spaces, and parkades — sized for present loads and future growth.
Lighting Design
We design energy-efficient lighting systems for every building area — from residential corridors and parkade structures to retail, commercial, and office environments. Our designs meet or exceed ASHRAE 90.1 and NECB energy performance targets while achieving the illumination levels required by applicable standards and occupancy type.
Life Safety Electrical Systems
Every DBK electrical design integrates fire alarm, smoke detection, and emergency lighting into a coordinated life safety system. We design emergency lighting layouts, exit signage circuits, and fire alarm wiring that comply with NFPA 72, NBC, and local AHJ requirements — fully coordinated with fire protection and mechanical disciplines.
Parkade Electrical Systems
Modern parkades demand LED lighting optimized for low energy use, ventilation control integration, EV charging infrastructure, and security and camera systems. DBK designs all these systems to work seamlessly together, with controls integrated into the building automation system for remote monitoring and energy management.
Building Automation & Monitoring
We integrate building automation system (BAS) connections for energy monitoring, equipment status tracking, alarm management, and system analytics. Our designs are future-ready — providing scalable electrical infrastructure to support evolving building intelligence requirements, including smart metering and demand response capability.
